WOX mentor Autumn Mantell’s journey saw her go from a driven teenage cox to a world championship medal-winning athlete and successful coach. Along the way she has developed a deep understanding of leadership, resilience, and teamwork. She advocates for building trust, clarity, and confidence within crews, emphasising how a cox must balance authority with empathy.

Using her experience as both a coxswain and coach at top-tier boat clubs such as Molesey BC, Oxford Brookes, and Cambridge University, she continues to shape the next generation of coxes with passion, insight, and creativity.

She is now a graphic designer for rowing brand Five57. Her creative skills are central to WOX’s iconic visual identity.
